FORMER INMATE TURNED AUTHOR
After being sentenced to 99 years in prison for an assortment of crimes, this inmate made a decision to change the trajectory of his life, even if he was not likely to live as a free man in the free world again. He registered to attend our weekly prerelease program at the prison where we were conducting a 12 week program. As he learned the skills and life strategies to make him a better person he was able to answer life’s question “what are you going to do next?“.
His answer to that question was “i will be an author and write a pwerful testimony to help other men overcome the challenges that caused me to fall”. As it turned out his 99 year sentence was reduced to a few years. During this time he began writing his manuscripts. Upon his release we proudly (through one of our affiliate companies MBH Publishing Inc) published his first book “From Pain to Power”. He is currently working on his second book.
